Matthew Good weekend.

By's it's like this. I once told these wise words to a friend over coffee and cigarettes, and I honestly mean it "do everything in your power to get hit by a mother fucking car because that way you can mooch off your parents a lot longer and no one can judge you". My science degree isn't killing me, but it's ironic in a way. I'm getting a bachelor of science with a double major in Biology and Chemistry and eventually plan on being a grad student, unless i become interested in a faculty, and I'm doing this because I want to do the things I love. However, I love to read, I love to write, I love Marathoning tv shows and I haven't been doing much of any of this since I entered university. So essentially, by going to university to do what I love, I don't have time for all the things I love. So mooch off your parental units, and live your life, because once you enter university, unless you're doing a slack degree, you sell your soul Memorial University. So this is my explanation to why I haven't been blogging lately.

Finals bitches. Despite doing well for an entire semester, messing up one final exam can destroy your performance in the course and your GPA. My ass has been in the books for a couple weeks now so getting on here has been difficult. Unless you want to know how I totally owned thermo chemistry last night, I've had nothing to blog about. Except this weekend which had a few adventures that I shall share with you now.

Side Note: I just had to go to MUNPO and retrieve Susan's phone that she lost of side on the road. Her mom promised chocolate chip cookies for it's safe return so it was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Friday night I was at Gilbert having a few dredraaanks when Heather, Megan and Nicole showed up and we went to my place to ensure intoxication prior to a night of adventurous activity. We hit up Cabot which was pretty fun, I met a girl I hadn't seen in several years who recognized me immediately and after some memory searching I remembered her as well and we chatted it up a bit. Myself and the girls went down town where I actually had difficulty getting into Konfusion but once I found a girl with a bracelet that I got on my wrists with the help of the girls, I got in and met up with some girls from Marystown and we danced it up. I also danced it up with the mandatory downtown dirt bag boys who hang out at konfusion. The streets were filled with obnoxious randoms that George street seems to supply, they did a lovely job adding to the atmosphere. The night was slightly above mediocre but I have no complaints. Side notes include a guy downtown doing card tricks who blew my mind.

Saturday is a totally different story. Matthew Good. I had a fake id found on the floor of a bar downtown by a few friends that looked nothing like me. But after getting dolled up with Susan and Marie and waiting patiently in line, the id worked. A cougar was dancing up a storm in front of me to the opening band that had to replace mother mother called Bay Town Connection who no one really new. Soon she began chatting up a storm with me and helped me get to pretty much the front. I decided to cougar hunt and kept my eyes open for hot older ladies, sadly there wasn't any who fit the criteria I was looking for but I was damn well near the front of the stage and life was good. I have a passion for live music and when Matthew Good (who is made of magic and shits rainbows may I add) came on stage I was in complete euphoria for the next hour while he was on stage. Side notes include that a teacher from my high school was there and I love seeing teachers out of school and the cougar I befriended was weather a plether jacket. The show was amazing and afterwards complete and utterly happy I returned to Gilbert where my boyfriend and friends were hanging out and continued to have a decent night.

Then I woke up on Sunday morning and had an early tutorial. Back to the real world I go. In 8 days my exams will be over and life will be good again. Three weeks two read a small pile of books including "A hitch hikers guide to the galaxy" watch the first season on star trek the next generation and drink a fuck tonne of alcohol. I will try to blog again soon, but again, my life is the epitome of life sucking dullness so don't have high expectations.
